Boracay Beaches

Balabag Beach

Boracay is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world,  the only Asian beach on Yahoo Travel top 10 list.  Boracay is located in the central part of Philippines, north of Panay Island, which is one of the major islands of the Visayan Region. This island has everything for everyone.  The 4 km white powder sand beach with crystal clear pristine aqua-colour water is of course the natural centre of the island with the coconut palms avenue cover all of the resorts, shops, restaurants, dive shops and bars along the beach. Boracay offers hide-away places, even on the White Beach or other small beaches with just a short bike ride or walk. If you like more crowded areas, you will find it as well.  There are all types of restaurants and bars, shops and services, for the budget traveller to the most exclusive.

Bulabog Beach

During the high season at Boracay, end of November to end of May the wind comes in from the "other side" of Boracay (easterly wind), which makes White Beach calm and most of the time without any wind. Bulabog beach has the perfect contiditions for wind surfing and kiting.

Balinghai Beach

A unique small beach, which is hard to find from the road, but possible to reach. Ask for directions or go here by boat!  You can get your food by ropes from elevated kitchen at the top of the rock.

A pearl of Boracay!

Puka Shell Beach

Puka Shell Beach is located in the northern part of Boracay.

Its possible to go there by Tri-Cycle or boat.  We recommend mountain biking from the central part of Boracay. Still a quiet beach where there is a lot of beautiful shells that the sea have brought up to land. Great place for relaxing while trying to find the most beautiful of the shells.  Small native restaurants with excellent seafood menu, also chicken and pork barbeque. There are small shops at the beach front as well.

Ilig Iligan Beach

Ilig Iligan is a little beach on the northeast side of Boracay.  Very few people find this destination, so this is the perfect hide away  from everthing and everybody.  Only two small resorts, a local karaoke bar at the beach and a small restaurant. You can go here by mountain bike, motorbike or rent a TriCycle (please be aware that the road is not fully developed at the last kilometer, so be prepared to walk).

From Ilig Iligan it is possible to hire a local guide to bring you over the rocks and to the Bat Caves.
